Gt 3 methods to prepare salts.
1. Add in excess
(aq) + (s) --> (aq)
- acid + insoluble base
- acid + insoluble carbonate
- acid + metal
2. Titration
(aq) + (aq) --> (aq)
- acid + alkali (SPCAB)
- acid + carbonate solution (soluble) (SPA carbonates)
3. Precipitation (used to prepare insoluble salt)
(aq) + (aq) --> (s)
- can mix n match so long the salt can be prepared o.O
Okay. Nt bad le la hor. LOL. At least better than nth okay.....
